How to start racing

1.  Join US Legends Cars and decide what class is best for you. 

• Bandolero racing for kids ages 8-14.  

• Legends racing ages 14 or older

• Thunder Roadster racing ages 16 or older.  

2.  Order a new car or buy a used car (we can help you with either choice).

3.  Register your car and car number with Houston Motorsports Park.

4.  Fill out Minor Release Forms (must be printed in color)

5.  Purchase your safety equipment and accessories necessary to race.  The following safety equipment , equipment, and accessories can be purchased from Houston Race Cars at a discount:                            
       1.  Car
       2.  RaceCeiver
       3.  AMB Transponder
       4.  HANS Device
       
6.  Practice Friday nights at Houston Motorsports Park.

7.  Start Racing!

Kid's Car Racing

If your child is interested in car racing, Houston Motorsports Park is the place to start in the Bandolero race car.  HMP is one of only two Texas race tracks with a full time kid's Bandolero racing program.  As your child grows older they are able to graduate up to the Legends cars to continue honing their racing skills.  To get started today contact Aaron Hogan at
